THIS MACHINE PRODUCES LONE WOLVES is a half hour meditation on the themes of isolation, radicalisation and self worth. It is an ambient journey which takes in field recordings, digital processing and an upright piano. It plays with both noise and harmony to create a beautiful unease, a sense that something is not right, and that’s true. Something is deeply wrong but I promise you that it isn’t foreigners, women, gay people, trans people, refugees or people with a different colour skin. Please go find what it is and come back and tell me.
