This is an album about loss. I’ve had track 3 lying around since early 2022 but struggled to place it, although I did know it would be on an album called ‘What If I Forget?’

Midway through 2023, 2 cats and 2 dogs that belonged to different friends of mine passed away and I started to feel this project taking shape. Late August, Brian McBride from Stars of The Lid left us and suddenly it all came together. No band has influenced my ACMITWS work more
than SoTL and I realised I needed to complete this tribute, to honour those who are gone.

The title was something a child said to me once, at my day job. The simplicity of the words and the anxiety underneath them spoke to me. I had no advice to give them. We’ve all worried about losing those precious memories of people that are now no longer with us. So what do we do, I ask you, if we forget? I still have no advice to give.
